Well nothing can be told more than the title of this post goes… She is dead. She was shot dead by a suicide attacker, from very close range. Then he blew himself up, killing and injuring more people there.

She had addressed an election campaign in Liaqat Bagh park. Then she boarded her car which had a sun gaurd. She had just stood there waving at her loyalists and supporters from her party, when she was shot. She had many splinters in her body also, due to the suicide bombing that took place thereafter. It is expected that she died at 6.16pm local time.

The ground is quite famous for such type of election campaign meet. It is situated in Rawalpindi. Not very far from Islamabad. The city is garrisoned and known to be quite safe.

The attack has killed more than 15 people according to the people onsite. Many more have been injured. People and supporters mostly from Pakistan People`s Party(PPP) were present at the meeting. They are now expected to revolt against this attack. It is expected that this attack will again provoke party loyalist and again Pakistan is going to be unrest and violent clashes will take place around Pakistan.

Russia, France and US have already codemned the attack.

As she faced corruption charge, she had imposed exile on herself and returned to Pakistan only in October. After finalising a power-sharing deal with Musharraf. Pakistan have general election early next year. But soon after she returned the deal fell apart.

Now it is to be seen what happens next in Pakistan.
