Yesterday I learnt so many things…

The learned about feotus, birth of the twins, triplets and the quadruplets. Then it followed by by heroic person named Rescroler or Rick who had help saved many lives in the 9/11/01 World Trade Centre attack, though he himself died in that attack. Then finally I learned about the manufacturing process of the world`s most advanced helicoptor- the Apache!

Now let me share my learning experience with you all…

The feotus story…

The National Geographic Channel showed 3 instances. In one a twin were growing up, in another there were a triplet and in the last one a quadruplet were growing up!

It showed the 4D scan pictures through which the doctors were monitoring the babies in the feotus. The way they were groing inside it.

I will only write it here in a bulleted form, because I am no expert here to describe the things which I had seen and/or learned.

- The forming of more than one fetus inside the womb from one egg, is actually an reproductive accident.
- The babies which grow in the same sack (a membrame) inside the womb are more identical than those babies which grow in a different sacks inside the womb.
- Triplets take only about 8 months to take birth.
- Quadruplets take only about 7 months to take birth.
- The above statements are true because there is a lack of space for the babies to grow up!
- Average wieght of triplets are about 2kgs, at the time of birth.
- Average weight of quadruplets are about 1kg, at the time of birth.
- The umbilical cord may get tied down or tangled up inside the womb and cut blood and food supply to the babies!
- Incase of more than one babies, one can take more blood and food supply than the other leading to heart failure in the one which takes away extra blood, due to pressure and annemia to the other!
- Babies develop characteristcs and carry them forward after their birth from the womb.
- Though they get everything same, still they get their own characteristics and attitutes.

Now the next topic…

Rick Rescorla:

- He was a british person but always wanted to be an american soldier!

- He joined british army later.

- He then joined american forces in the Vietnam war of 1965 to fight voluntarily.

- When led group of men in the war, least no. of casualties were reported from his group.

- He always held life of his men very close to his heart and prized them very much.

- He then got an american citizenship and stayed there.

- He was the vice president of security for Morgan Stanley office in WTC.

- After the 1993 blast in the WTC ground zero, he had predicted that the building is still vulnerable to more terrorist attack.

- He had trained the employees and security men there for the worst.

- He had actually forseen the next attack coming from the air.

- He was a brave man and wanted to save everyone in the building before he got out on that fateful day. Thats why he died later in the building when the 1st tower collapsed.

- He actually went up the stairs in search of his colleague in the WTC after evacuating most of the people.

See more about this heroic man here.

The Apache:

- Its manufactured by Boeing.

- There are around 1300 Apaches around the world.

- They produce about 40 helicopters in a year.

- There are 2 engines which generate 1800 hp each.

- The top speed is 320kms!

- Its tank can hold 1400 ltrs of fuel.

- It can fly for half-an-hour without any fuel!!

- Its machine-gun can have 1200 rounds of bullets.

- It 600 rounds of bullet a minute.

- It takes about 3 months to build the helicopter.

- It has wires which will stretch upto 13kms long!!

- There are 15 stages of assembly line, which it passes through.

- It has three bullet protective layers.

- Only 160 workers work in the factory to produce these helicopters.

- Its body is drilled for bolts to the precision of 1000:1 inch!!!

- It has night- vision.

- The machine-gun is connected directly with an eye of the pilot! He just have to look at the target and fire.
